In July 2008 Sedgwick County Zoo welcomed its newest live creature, a new web site designed and programmed by Howerton+White. Just like a new zoo arrival, this creature’s successful debut was a result of a team effort. H+W staff worked closely with the Zoo’s Christan Baumer, Marketing and Public Relations Manager, and Steve Onken, Development Director, to plan and produce the site.

Sedgwick County Zoo is the number one outdoor family tourist attraction in Kansas. The new site showcases the different ways to experience the Zoo, including overnight stays, special behind-the-scenes tours, children’s birthday parties, party packages for adults, and educational experiences for toddlers through high school students and beyond.
